Today, we will attempt to justify our way and values at Mr Kitchen.

 

As a business built from academic research, we are poised to make naturally healthy foods available to consumers. Findings from our continuous market and consumption research always confirm the lack of and inadequate natural alternatives to a wider range of food and food products on the market.

 

At the heart of our production philosophy is the health of our consumers. Every single product from our production line should adequately satisfy the key core value- the health of the consumer in every pack. Keeping our products at homemade quality, and free from additives and preservatives remains a big part of our vision. We are working every single day to stay uncompromised from this vision.

 

Our research has kept freezing as the best form of preservative. Generally, with freezing, we can retain color, texture, freshness, and taste. These maintained properties ensure that nutritional values are 100% retained to offer maximum health and tastiness benefits to your-our consumer. No form of preservation can achieve the benefits of freezing.

 

We are motivated to deliver on promises. The inspiration of Mr Kitchen is to feed especially Africans with healthy products.

Not less than 50% of nutrients and taste are lost throughout drying. In vegetables, you can lose up to 90%.

 

Canning will mean, you have to introduce chemicals to balance the acid and base properties of the products to avoid rusting. As part of the process to kill microbes and inhibit their growth, the canned products are subjected to a very high temperature. In effect, it is just achieving overcooking of the product. At the end of the process, you may end up losing a significant amount of nutrients through canning not to cite the hidden side effects of chemicals used to balance the pH value of the products.
